About Cris
Cristina is a registered psychologist and counsellor working in Sydney with adolescents, adults, parents-to-be and parents with newborns.
Cris uses ACT, IPT and Psychodynamics to support individuals with their health, psychological, emotional, and existential challenges. All sort of problems may arise from social or work interactions, new roles, academic performance, relationship dynamics, parenthood, grief and loss, or any kind of change in our lives. It is important to seek support if you are feeling unwell, unsure about decisions to take, or just want to focus on your wellbeing for a while.
Cris holds a PhD in Social Sciences, MD in Sexualities, Reproduction and Perinatal Period, MD in Philosophy, GradDip in Psychology, and Bachelor of Psychology Honours. Also a Grad Certificate in Research.

Cris is a volunteer at the Vozes Lusófonas project held at the Portuguese Community Club. She also has research experience on the UN Sustainable Development Goals including work rights; sustainable supply chains; health, safety and environment (HSE); and healthcare of individuals and communities.
