Children

Children often express their emotions, questions, and struggles not through words, but through play — their natural language.

Inspired by the work of Donald Winnicott and Françoise Dolto, two of the most influential paediatricians of the 20th century, we understand play as a space where children give form to what they may not yet be able to say in words.

Through play, they explore their inner world, symbolically work through complex emotions, and begin to make sense of their experiences.

It is within this creative and safe space that therapeutic work unfolds — where the child can be met, heard, and supported in their own way.

While we address symptoms and behavioural concerns, our approach looks and works beyond them to understand the child as a whole — their history, environment, and internal life.

Grounded in psychoanalytic thinking and attuned to contributions from the neurosciences, our work is suited to complex situations, where time, trust, and attentive listening are essential to support the child’s development and wellbeing.

What We Can Help With

We help children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, anxiety, sleep or eating issues, and challenges related to family transitions such as migration, separation or loss. Our work also includes children navigating trauma, school-related struggles, developmental concerns, and relational difficulties with carers and peers. We offer support in processing overwhelming or medical experiences, and provide thoughtful care for children on the autism spectrum.
