 Adolescents

Adolescence comes with feelings and sensations that can be hard to explain.Sometimes it’s a tightness in the chest, anger out of nowhere, or a strange emptiness  like something is out of place, but inside. It can also feel like you don’t quite belong, like you’re out of place even at home, at school, or in the world. And maybe the hardest part: it’s not easy to talk about these things with just anyone.

Psychoanalytic approach is based on the idea that there’s a part of us that escapes our control. Something that goes beyond what we can think or put into words. Symptoms, dreams, crises, repetitions and all of these might be ways the unconscious is trying to speak.

In psychoanalytically oriented work, there’s no manual and no ready-made answers. t’s a space where you can talk about whatever you want, in your own way, without judgment or correction, a space where you’re truly listened to.

Because each person has a unique way of being, and learning to listen to yourself can make a real difference. It’s not about “fixing” yourself, but about finding ways to deal with what’s going on inside — and beginning to make sense of it, even when it doesn’t have a name yet.

What We Can Help With

We support adolescents facing emotional distress, anxiety, low mood, identity questions, and the challenges that often come with growing up — including family conflict, migration, separation, or loss. Our work also addresses school-related difficulties, peer relationships, self-esteem struggles, body image concerns, eating-related issues, and the impact of trauma or overwhelming experiences. We welcome complex cases and provide a reflective space where adolescents can begin to make sense of what they’re feeling and find ways of navigating the world that feel more their own.
